      • What We Do

The World Purpose Forum operates by the following principles with firm conviction and commitment to those we serve by helping them find meaning and purpose in their lives.

        Our Principles

        • Everyone needs a defined life purpose

        • At certain junctures people need help in charting their life plan for their next stage
        • When people get stuck they need expert help

Working on life plans in forums is a magical formula for getting and keeping traction

        The WPF Proven Process

The World Purpose Forum follows a proven process for helping members define and prepare their life plan with their coach and through participation in their Forum group:

        • Having a purpose statement allows you to state your dream in an accountable way
        • Defining specifics allows your life plan to emerge
        • Confronting the true facts of your current state prepares you to properly chart the course for realizing what has to change or what you must change to open doors
        • Being able to state what you won’t settle for validates your willingness to put a plan in place

        Keynote Speaker: Nando Parrado

Nando Parrado is a survivor of the 1972 plane crash in the Chilean mountains, a best-selling author of Miracle in the Andes, a successful businessman and television producer, and an internationally renowned speaker who, with his audience, unlocks potential and excellence in the workplace and everyday life. In 2010, he was selected as "Best Speaker in the World" by the World Business Forum (New York). This remarkable story of the survivors omits none of the raw intensity of their experience but is burnished by time, casting an analytical perspective on ways in which their subsequent lives were influenced by the ordeal. The many forms of courage exhibited and the sustaining power of love of family are the basis of the narrative as the group supported one another in a collective refusal to surrender to the mountain.

Nando speaks to the power of never giving in or settling for a life that is without meaning. His powerful story of how he built a life of purpose following his survival in the Andes provides an inspirational testimony to the power of defining one's purpose in life.

        • Purpose Success Story
        • Motivational Purpose Message

Networking time is provided throughout the program so that maximum interaction happens between all participants.Participants automatically become Associate Members of the World Purpose Forum Community with ongoing rights and privileges including information, access to other members, shared tools and methods, as well as providing help to those seeking purpose. Members will be encouraged to agree to mutual accountability to share in helping people discover purpose, find meaning, and work on their purpose life plans.

Every participant of the annual meeting beforehand completes a personalized survey which helps direct their invitation to join a forum comprised of members who have similar objectives.

        Forum Meetings:

Each Forum is led by a master-certified team leader. Each Forum becomes a permanent learning and resource group available and committed to each member’s success in work and in life. Great care is extended to ensure that a participant is placed on a team that will provide them maximum benefit going forward, offering life-long networking connection to individuals committed to supporting each member’s drive to fulfilling their life’s purpose.

Each Forum follows a similar learning paradigm. The Forum leaders are certified on how to create a spirit and enthusiasm around staying together as a team after the program. Day One is focused on building significant steps towards building team chemistry. Day Two has a major focus on transferring the methodology that instills confidence that participants will be enabled to develop their purpose life plan and for coaches to be empowered to coach or mentor others. Day Three results in the finalization steps for members and provides the final step for certifying coaches, facilitators and mentors to the standards of the World Purpose Forum.

Two opportunities to become a Patron of the World Purpose Foundation

Our goal is to set in motion a rigorous plan to implement two projects:

        • Work Reimagined  for Veterans
          • Working with 10,000 veterans each year who are re-entering civilian life and need a purpose driven pathway to the future. Veterans will work in teams pledging to help each other under the guidance and support of WPF facilitators, coaches and mentors.
        • Life Reimagined for Adolescents
          •  Will provide specially trained WPF mentors to 10,000 adolescents annually who don’t have mentors in their lives.

Our non-profit organization is funded by the profits of the World Purpose Forum and patrons who have had the good fortune to have found and lived their purpose.

Volunteer and become a certified mentor, coach, and trainer to give back or through your gift sponsor a mentor or coach for adolescents and veterans.

    • World Purpose Forum Certification Center: Vermont

The World Purpose Forum’s Certification Center is in a distinctive Vermont destination situated on a majestic 600-acre parcel in central Vermont, an easy drive from Montreal, Boston and New York City. The facilities include a 12,000 sq. ft. post and beam lodge and conference center with guestrooms, a fully renovated 1820 classic Vermont farm house, and a charming cottage overlooking one of the many spring- fed ponds on the property. Surrounded by an additional 1000 acres of conserved land, the estate is ideal for outdoor recreation, with a lake for water sports, miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, and a tennis court.

The property spans a history of more than two-hundred years. The land was worked by pioneering families who cleared the forests, built stonewalls, raised livestock, and created a hill farm living environment.

A sense of purpose lives in the aura of the property.

This location will support the certification functions of the World Purpose Forum and will provide one of the primary Certification Centers for Forum Leaders, Professional Master Facilitators, Professional Coaches, and Senior Mentors.
